Complete Guide to Managing Your Pages

All pages that are not gallery or image pages are grouped in the section called “Pages.” These include Home, About, Events, Contact, and any other page you may want to add. You can add an unlimited amount of website pages.

For information regarding the Landing Pages that you may have (a “landing page” is the first page a visitor will see when visiting your website), click here: Landing Pages

Make a Page Live on your Website

☛ Step 1 From the Control Panel's menu, click on Pages to edit your pages.

☛ STEP 2 Click the Arrange Pages Button.

☛ STEP 3 Using your mouse, drag the page to the above Live Pages section, to be placed in front of the Gallery page.

You will see the background box turn green, under the page. This is an indication of where the page will be placed.

For a brief 3 seconds, a pop-up of Update complete will appear at the top of the control panel.

Make a Page Inactive on your Website

Click on Arrange Pages

Using your mouse, drag the page to the bottom Inactive Pages section, to be placed in any order.

Make a Page Hidden on your Website

From your Control Panel's Main Menu, click on .

If you need the URL of your hidden page for sharing purposes, then before moving onto Step 2, do the following:

  1. Navigate to the top of your Control Panel and click on the “View My Website” link.
  2. A new browser window will generate, displaying your live website.
  3. From the navigation bar, click on the page you wish to be hidden.
  4. Then go to the browser's address bar, and copy the URL. This is what you will need in order to share your hidden page.

Click the gear icon on the page you want to hide.

Higlight the text in the box where it says Name of Page (as appears in your navigation bar):

Delete the text. The box should be blank.

Click the blue OK button to save your changes.

Change the Browser Title, Page Name/Heading, Show This Page

From your Control Panel's Main Menu, click on .

Click the Gear Icon for the page you want to manage.

In the pop-up window, you will now be able to edit the page settings for this page only.

Browser Window Title

  • Enter within the empty field for “Browser Window Title” your desired name for the browser title tag (Anything you enter here will override the default settings within the Browser Title field located Site Settings). You can leave it blank so that the default will continue to show, or change it to something more specific to this page, which we do recommend.

Example of where it will appear on your website:

Page Heading

  • Enter within the field for “Page Heading” your desired name for the page heading, which would appear at the top of the page. You can leave what is there already, you can change it, or can leave it blank so there is no heading at all, which is what most artists choose, because it can be redundant to have the name of the page in the navigation bar and at the top of the page. (If you'd like to change the font style, size, etc of the page heading, you can follow this tutorial: Customizing Your Content Headings.)

Example of where it will appear on your website:

Name of Page (as appears in your navigation bar):
