• Getting Started With Custom Styles
The following step-by-step illustrates how you would change the background of your entire website. Many members choose a muted, textured image or a solid color that stretches to fit the entire browser window.
example shown here:
☛ To get started on customizing your website's 'Site Background Area', click on Website Design.
☛ Click the Custom Styles tab (last one) to customize colors, fonts, backgrounds and more.
☛ Under Site Background Area, you can change the following:
☛ Click on the Background Color : field and select a color from the color wheel that appears. Move the larger dot from around the loop and then the smaller dot to refine it further. If you have a HEX color code from an image file, enter that in this field preceded by #.
☛ To place an image you have chosen in the background instead of simply using a color, click on the [advanced] Click here to add a background image / logo box. Click Select File to upload your image and make sure that “Use Background Image” is checked. You can also further refine it by changing the horizontal/vertical positions via the drop-down selections and choose Tile/Stretch Effects.
☛ To adjust the Site Background Area’s level of translucence, click on [advanced] Click here to change opacity level.
☛ Click Save Changes button to commit any changes.
